Thank you for taking the time to visit our fund raising page … Tracey Baker, Tracey Wright, Kathy Walker and Jan Santillo all from Woollcombe Yonge Solicitors are joining a team of 15 friends brought together by the loss of our dear friend Jacqui Batterbee who sadly lost her heroic fight against cancer in January 2019.  She gave it her all, raising thousands of pounds for various breast cancer charities, right up until October 2018 when she cycled India.  This added to her list of Cycling Challenges which included Vietnam to Cambodia, Cuba, Africa, Brazil ….. she was a pink and sparkly shining example to us all and will be forever missed.

Jacqui was so full of adventure and determination, she lived each and every day to the full.  So many people were inspired by Jacqui and all she did, you never knew what she had planned next!  Leaving us so soon was most definitely not the plan and we are all devastated - we thought Jacqui would go on in her Warrior Woman fashion forever …..

So, here we are, taking part in this Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike on the 15th June 2019.   Our training started back in February when the evenings got dark early, finding our walks along the Plym Valley trail in the dark interesting going through the dark tunnels.  We went to Treyanon Bay planning to walk to Watergate Bay but our adventure took us in another direction and we ended up in Padstow!   We have been walking the Cornish coast in training and hope all the hills will hold us in good shape for the day.
