We build thriving gardens in spinal centres to nurture lives after spinal injury

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Georgia and I are attempting to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest freestanding mountain in the world, this August. We begin our seven day trek on the 17th and have been training for months to try to reach the 5895m high peak. We want to devote our climb to raising money for a fantastic charity close to our hearts.

My Dad spent four months in Salisbury hospital last
summer, in rehabilitation following paralysis from a spinal chord injury. Horatio’s Garden provides a beautiful sanctuary, an uplifting atmosphere and rehabilitation activities, helping patients and families across multiple spinal units have moments away from the hospital ward. This made such a huge difference in those initial months and so we would like to return some support.

Any donation would be hugely appreciated. We will be posting updates of our journey to the summit (hopefully) and hope you can follow along
with us!

Lots of love Jana and Georgia.
