If you know me, you know how important it is to me to raise awareness of refugee rights and to support organisations and charities supporting refugees in the U.K and abroad, as well as fighting against the current migration policy. 

This August I am joining #teamhumanity and raising money for Refugee Action by running two half marathons in London. One this weekend and one at the end of the month. Alongside studying and working part-time, sticking to a running schedule has been tricky, but so much fun!

Refugee Action's vision is that refugees and asylum seekers will be welcome in the UK. They will get justice, live free of poverty and be able to successfully rebuild their lives. All donations go towards refugee action's vital work supporting survivors of war, conflict, crisis and violence to rebuild their lives.

£10 provides a refugee family with essential supplies and £50 helps someone seeking safety to find accommodation. The rights of refugees in the UK and refugees hoping to reach the UK have never been more under threat so every small amount is invaluable.

I've never felt more strongly about supporting a charity which provides so much support for refugees both abroad and in the UK.
