We provide mental health training to help people look after their wellbeing

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe,   they will never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Charlie Waller Trust aims to:

- open up conversations around depression, to ensure that young people are able to understand, look after their own mental health, spot the signs in others and know how and where to access help.

- educate young people and those with responsibility for them in education and healthcare about mental health and wellbeing.

CWT approach is:

Positive - focusing on prevention and early intervention & recognising the importance of offering hope.

Proven - consultancy, training and resources are all based on sound clinical evidence.

Practical –content provides people with strategies and tools to care for their mental health, and to support others in doing so.

Since 1977 Charlie Waller’s offer is that training should be free
at the point of need
– it is not directly funded by Local Authorities or
Clinical Commissioning Groups, so the majority of our work is enabled through fundraising.

Useful resources on the information page including action plans, coping with study at school, university, exams, Coronavirus, returning to the office, working at home.
