Despite alarmed objections from my legs, I'll be running in the London Marathon on 22nd April to raise money for Advantage Africa's work with people affected by poverty, disability and HIV. 

 

I've seen at first hand the difference Advantage Africa is making in poor communities in East Africa.  Our projects help disabled boys and girls to get an education, orphans and vulnerable children to have shelter, healthcare and nutritious food and single parents living with HIV to earn an income and care for their familes.  They create lasting change and real hope for the future - and that's why I'm going to ignore my legs.
