We are taking part in a 12k running challenge at 10am on 12th September. For two women who couldn’t run 1k a few months ago, this is a challenge! Please cheer us on if you see us around Wicksteed Park / Ise Lodge / Warkton on this date.... sure we’ll need it!! 

We have been inspired to do this by the Rainbow Running Club which is a community of women who have experienced baby loss and / or infertility. 1 in 4 women sadly lose a baby during pregnancy and birth, and fertility problems are estimated to affect 1 in 6 couples in the UK. We have both, in different ways, been personally affected by this so this cause is close to our hearts. 

We’ve paid to enter the 12k challenge with all funds raised going to Tommy’s but thought we would try and raise a little extra for this amazing charity, and on behalf of Lucy who created the Rainbow Running Club (www.rainbowrunningclub.co.uk) after being inspired by her concept to support & unite women who have suffered fertility issues and baby loss. 🌈 We would be so grateful if you could spare a few pounds to support us and the charity’s vital research 🌈
