Event: ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon 2018, on 8 April 2018
We need your support to expand our palliative care centre to meet the increasing needs of people with a life-limiting condition, and their families in Wisbech and the Fens.

Story

I work at the Alan Hudson Day Treatment Centre in Wisbech where we care for local people with life limiting illnesses and their families/carers. The unit is a wonderful place to work and I feel extremely priviliged to be part of the team.

After raising money for the unit in March 2017 by running my 1st half marathon I have entered the Manchester marathon in April 2018. This will allow me to raise more funds for the unit whilst also  fulfilling a desire to run a full marathon.  My training is only just beginning but already I am realising how physically and mentally tiring this challenge is going to be. As part of my training I am also running a 30k in Stamford in February, the Cambridge half marathon again in March followed by a 20 mile race in Milton Keynes ,also in March.

Thanks for taking tlhe time to visit my JustGiving page.  Any donations for the Alan Hudson Day Treatment Centre in Wisbech will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
