Had she not been taken from us at such a tragically young age Jane would've been 46 on 25th June this year.

Some of you will have been lucky enough to have known this special lady. She was a kind & generous soul, often thinking of others, which brings me to why I'm asking you all to make a small donation in her memory.

In July 2010, a couple of years before her diagnosis, Jane ran a 5K "Race For Life". The cover picture on this page shows our Jane with a 3 year old Emily, having completed the distance.  

Fast Forward to a Covid-19 Lockdown afternoon in June 2020 and whilst sorting through Jane's belongings I find sponsorship money in an envelope with her entry form! 

I will of course be forwarding this onto Cancer Research, but it got me thinking of how best to honour Jane's memory this year. 

Naturally there will be cake!.... but wouldn't it be great if we could raise a small amount to prevent other young women and girls going through what Jane had to. 

To this end I've chosen to support the charity Prevent Breast Cancer. 

Prevent Breast Cancer is the only UK charity funding ground-breaking research solely aimed at preventing breast cancer for future generations.

I understand that these are difficult times we are living in, but cancer takes no account of this. It continues to wreck the lives of individuals and families throughout the UK.
