In the final weeks of Philip’s life, nurses from Kate’s offered respite overnight care, meaning that we were able to keep looking after Dad in his own home as he wished, up until the final couple of weeks. Kate’s employ fully qualified nurses and rely largely on charitable donations to be able to provide this invaluable support that enables people to end their days in comfort at home.
