Jane English is raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support
In memory of Russell Goodacre
Story
This March, I'll attempt (operative word) to run a half marathon for Macmillan.
I'm running with friends who've already done marathons/Iron Man competitions and it's my first race. Cue much panicked training in the cold and dark recently!
The charity cared for my dear friend Jane Goodacre's dad in his final months, and they also helped my mum and sister recover from cancer several years ago - so it's a cause that's very close to my heart.
We're calling our collective effort 'Good4Good' and hope to raise several thousand pounds between us.
