Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

What a fab idea!  I was speaking with Mary the director of this wonderful charity the other day whilst out on a walk and she told me about this fundraiser.  You set your target of 5000 or 10000 steps per day for 5 days a week.  You then invite your friends and family for a walk and ask for a small donation to help you hit your fundraising target.

This is what I thought.....1.  This is a great way to connect up again with friends and family and now we can meet up with 5 other people or another household outside its perfect.  2.  Getting out doors is the best natural form of anti'- depressant you can get.  3.  Its achievable and realistic.  4.  Great for mental health,  easing ourselves gently out of lockdown.  5. Last but not least...Its helping out a charity that supported my local community in and around Bingham throughout the whole pandemic.  Delivering prescriptions, cakes, fish and chips and even Father Christmas hitched a ride on Rosie the tuk tuk at Christmas.  Whilst doing this they continued as best they could with their invaluable projects abroad.  This is incredible!

They now need our help they can continue to do the great work they do! So I am going to be walking 10000 steps a day and asking my wonderful friends and family to join me and make a small donation of £2 per walk.  Can't wait to reconnect with everyone!  If however you can't attend then I wouldn't say no to a small cheeky donation anyway!

Many Thanks for your support and I shall keep you posted!
