This was not my idea. This was my best friend, Nicky's, idea. We will both be undertaking a challenge later on in the year and need to get training for it. So Nicky suggested we aim to walk 4 million steps in a year. Sure! 

The Hospice Income Generation Network is an organisation and charity that I am proud to be associated with. A hospice helped us as a family; a hospice helped my best friend care for her dad; and earlier this year a hospice helped care for a friend and continue to care for her husband and young children. Without Hospice fundraisers there are no Hospices and so I'm planning to walk 4 million steps in a year, to show my support for Hospice fundraisers throughout the UK. Hospice Income Generation Network is a training and support charity that helps all tiers of fundraisers, hospice comms and marketing, and hospice retail. They help provide them with the skills to enable them to raise the money that hospices around the country desperately need to support those who are life limited along with their loved ones. 2020 has been a tough year so a tough challenge is a fitting tribute to all that they do.
