The MS Therapy Centre provides therapy, information and support to people living with MS. Many professional therapies are offered - physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, pain management, together with complementary therapies. We do not receive statutory funding, so donations are vital.

Story

"Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Please see my story below.

I, along with my daughter Lizzie Frost, will climb into a train in Beijing on the 23rd of July 2019 and, 5,000 miles, 10 countries and 23 days later, alight at our home station, Bedford.

The amazing trip will take us across China into Mongolia (where we stay in a nomad ger), before we join the famous Trans Siberian Railway to cross the vast Russian Steppes.

From the Ural Mountains, we head for Moscow via St Petersburg; we then journey through Belarus, Poland, Germany, Belgium and France where we cross the Channel before the home leg to Bedford".

Mum Jane is a long time sufferer from MS. “Ten years ago I wouldn’t have been able to even think about such a journey. Now, thanks to new treatments and particularly the help and care from the MS Therapy Centre Beds and Northants, I’m ready to take part in this incredible journey”.

Daughter Lizzie, who has just completed a year at Beijing University, was a previous volunteer at the MS Therapy Centre. “Mum and I want to use this trip to raise funds for this wonderful organisation.”

All funds raised will go direct to the MS Therapy Centre as Lizzie and Jane have covered all their own travel costs. They are being supported by Bedford travel agency, Global Travel Experts, located at 9 Ram Yard, Bedford MK40 1AL. Thanks also to the Trans-Siberian Travel Company.
