Cuban Revolution Cycle · 12 November 2010

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

You may know already that Paul and I are getting married on 8/10/2010. We have decided to cycle Cuba as our honeymoon to raise some money for the  M.S. society, Hull and Beverly borough branch.

Our reasons for doing this  are two fold:-     as you may know Paul was very ill last year and spent a long time in hospital some of which was on a ventilator. we decided to start cycling to rebuild his stamina and increase his fitness. and  as I am so young thin and fit !!!!!!!!!!!!!  I decided it was  something i could do with him.(please note that is sarcasm)

We then decided to get married and one thing lead too another. CUBA HERE WE COME.............

Our second reason is' as part of my job i work along side the local branch of the MS society, the volunteers work so hard to support and fundraise for people and their familys affected by MS. they have always been very supportive  too me .So now is my chance too help them raise some money and say thankyou for the support they give to this very special group of people.

So we are asking for donations instead of wedding presents. please give as much or as little as you can afford.

In 2008 I cycled from London to Paris and managed to raise just under £2000 . We would love too double that .

Please help us if you can. if you can fill a sponser form that would be wonderful.

first day over loads of hills and very little road, bikes very primative paul on his 3rd already! people here live in awful conditions but seem too smile all the time. its a beautiful country but very poor.
