Our daughter developed CFS/ME in March 2018, she’d been a keen & committed artistic roller skater achieving plenty in her sport including multiple British Titles & representing Great Britain in European competitions. Sadly, that all came to an abrupt end. As with a lot of sufferers she went from a very active, hard working teen to not being able to do life’s basics. This is a terrible illness, with no known cure & very limited treatments. Sadly, we know all too well the journey it has set us on as my wife & her mum had her promising marathon career cut short for exactly the same reason.

Invest in ME Research is an independent UK charity finding, funding and facilitating a strategy of biomedical research into Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME or ME/CFS).The charity is run by volunteers - patients or parents of children with ME - with no paid staff.

Our aim is to seek ways to raise funds to support the research into finding the cause & treatment to prevent others suffering in the future.
