Story

We would like to thank everyone who donated, we are so pleased to have met (and exceeded) our £1000 target.

We know the amount raised will be used effectively towards this great cause.

We're raising money for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund). Their mission is to ‘Find a cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes and its complications’. Type 1 diabetes is a life changing condition that impacts on the child and their family. Treatment includes injections up to 4 times a day and careful monitoring of blood sugar levels and diet. If not carefully managed, it can lead to problems throughout the body.

Kate was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when she was 13 and Gill’s niece Jodi was 4 when she was diagnosed.

Unfortunately, type 1 diabetes is on the increase, so the research carried out by JDRF is very important.

We would really appreciate your help.
