Thomas’s 8th Birthday Walk · 29 June 2020

Despite everything, Chester Zoo is still preventing extinction. From caring for 35,000 animals to helping conservation organisations across the world manage the impact of this crisis, our fight for wildlife will not stop!

Story

Thomas will be walking 11 miles during his birthday week w/c 29th June for his 8th birthday to raise vital funds to save our zoo.  There are 11 miles of pathway around Chester Zoo, which winds around all sorts of animals, which is why Thomas wants to walk 11 miles.

Thomas loves Chester Zoo, and on his last visit had a nap at the picnic area outside the Giraffe House.  If you can give a little for Thomas’s birthday it would be much appreciated.

The gates may be closed, but Chester Zoo is still doing all it can to prevent extinction. From conservation at the zoo with 35,000 animals, to helping wildlife organisations across the world to manage the impact of this global crisis, Chester Zoo is determined not to let coronavirus stand in the way of its vital mission. At such a time of crisis and uncertainty for everyone, Thomas has chosen to raise funds for Chester Zoo so they can use it where they need it most and continue to make their mission of preventing extinction a reality and ensure the survival of species for the future.Together, we can act for wildlife!
