Story
Pebbles Legacy Dog Rescue is a registered charity (Number
1168055) Our mission is to help dogs who find themselves in need of new homes. Many of the dogs are from cruelty or welfare cases, healthy dogs who are at imminent threat of being killed, and dogs who are no longer able to stay in their homes, for
various reasons.
We have very few foster homes available, and as such, we have to rent kennel space. To pay for this, we arrange Fun Days, Open Days, social evenings, and we endeavour to attend as many outdoor events as possible with our stall. As the winter months approach, the events available to us dwindles, and in turn, so do our funds.
Recently, the rescue has had a high volume of requests for help;
A senior Yorkshire Terrier who's owner passed away.
A 12 year old dog who couldn't move house with his family.
Two Jack Russells who's family was separating.
An elderly Staffie, found wandering the streets, and no
owner came forward.
All now in our care.
And so many more, all needing help, beautiful dogs who just needed a lifeline.
There is no price tag on saving a dog's life, and we try to
never turn a dog away. Sadly, we have to be realistic about finances, and as such, we are appealing for your help. If we are to continue saving dogs lives, we need some support in the form of pennies.
Our kennel bill is now approximately £4,000 per month.
Whilst we work hard to find the right homes for the dogs, and raise funds through any method we can, it would be wonderful to have a little help.
If you would consider making a donation towards the dog's
kennel fees, it would be hugely appreciated....not just by us people, but by the dogs too!
If you are a tax payer, please use the Gift Aid option....it costs you nothing and will benefit the dogs x
