We are a small and local charity supporting children suffering from cancer in the North of England We aim to 1) Provide respite 'Hollydays' for families enduring the gruelling treatment and recovery of childhood cancer. 2) Provide magical experiences for children in treatment.

Story

The charity Hope For Holly founded in May 2012 by Holly Toner-Gowland's parents when she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukeamia (ALL). The same week in May 2012, Carries daughter, our niece Ruby age 5 was also diagnosed with ALL; our nightmare began and Carries world fell apart.

Ruby and Holly have become best friends and chemo buddies through their weekly visits and admissions to the RVI for chemotherapy, theatre and biopsies.

Ruby takes this in her stride.  Her treatment, the side effects, her illness does not phase her.  Her cancer is making her the person she will become.  These words cannot reflect our and Rubys experience and our uncertainty of the future

Please donate what you can to support all others who have the misfortune of experiencing what Ruby and her family do.  The whole experience has actually being positive, the RVI and its staff are truly incredible, leukaemia research is tailoring Rubys treatment so it is as least aggressive as it can be.

We will be taking part in 10x10k runs within the last year of Ruby and Hollys treatment.

Thank you so much

Ruby and Holly.

Jane, Carrie, Rebecca and not forgetting John (Ruby's daddy)
