In April 2024, I will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Baby Umbrella. This is my first ever half marathon and by far the hardest physical challenge I've ever had.

Baby Umbrella are a Kent based charity that provide support for new parents, including myself when my son Joshua was born. One of their focuses is feeding support, with professional lactation specialists available for free one-to-ones. It's also a safe space for parents to meet each other over a cup of tea and a brownie (which are delicious!), or to try out a new carrier from their sling library.

Their guidance and support is open to all parents but they need our support to keep providing these services on a regular basis and free of charge.
