Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 7 April 2013 I ran the Paris Marathon to help raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association. I'm pleased to say that I completed it in 4 hours 20 minutes.

Sadly my close friend Jacqui Priestley died from MND in 2011, quite a short time after her diagnosis. I had known Jacqui for more than 20 years: we worked together, had our children at the same time and were brought back together through my running holidays in Scotland.

Jacqui inspired me to set up my own running group, JanesRunners.com in 2012. All donations, however small, will be gratefully received.

So please dig deep and donate now. You can find out more about Jacqui via her tribute page
