HI everyone. Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
I am privilaged to be very good friends with a family who I have known since I can't remember. They welcomed me into their home and helped me through some tough years. At the time I was best mates with their daughter Pippa and good mates with her older sister Juliet and younger brother Charles and we still remain friends today. Recently they sadly lost their mother to cancer. Barbara was a very happy kind and loving person who I shall never forget. They sadly have previously experienced this trauma as they lost their father 15 years ago also to cancer. Juliet, Pippa and Charles have had the help and support from Macmillan Cancer Support throughout.
I would like to give something back to this familiy for all the support they gave me in the past, therfore I have chosen to get my trainers back out of the locker and begin a gruelling training regime to complete the Robin Hood Half Marathon in Nottingham on the 13th September 2009. I have done this before and promised myself I would never ever do it again!!! So I really need your support by making a donation. All funds will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.
