Global Sight Solutions, previously known as The Guildford Rotary Eye Project, is an avoidable blindness charity. It establishes financially sustainable eye hospitals which provide a full range of eye care, free to the world’s poorest. JUST £5 ENABLES A CATARACT OPERATION

Story

In my year as the President of the Rotary Club of Witney  3 members of the Smith family were to take part in the Bridges of London Trek to raise money for the charity Global Sight Solutions.  That walk has been cancelled, but people around the world are still losing their sight to avoidable eye conditions. Having had several eye operations over the years, I know how important sight is. So instead of the organised Thames Trek, Benjamin, Pip and I will, in September, be  making our way from the source of the Thames to Lechlade. Please sponsor us if you are able.  £5 will enable the blind to see again. Very many thanks.
