Story

A year after his diagnosis for advanced prostate cancer Steve spent 5 weeks at St Richards where they were experts at sorting medication to manage his pain and afterwards when he came home we had the wonderful support of Wendy, a specialist nurse who was so experienced and caring at guiding us through every stage for the next two years. She was there for me and my son and daughter as well as Steve, always ready to answer any questions to help us make informed decisions. I will always be grateful for her calm and compassionate care and wealth of knowledge and experience that she brought into our home.. The support and range of services offered by St Richards is invaluable and so much appreciated during such difficult life changing times as my family experienced. Thank you in advance for any donations which will enable this wonderful hospice to continue and expand its services for the benefit of other families facing a similar situation
