Hi everyone,

I know most of you are aware of my support of Dawning Family Services, a fantastic non-profit committed to providing critical support and services for children and their families who are facing homelessness. As the Board Chair, I will be participating in our signature event this year, Dusk 'Til Dawn, and will join hundreds of supporters as we SLEEP OUT IN SOLIDARITY to create awareness and raise funds to provide safe and secure housing and supportive services for our families in crisis.

Dawning Family Services, previously Alpha House of Tampa, has served Tampa and Hillsborough County over 41 years, providing housing and services to families with children, who are touched by homelessness. The need is great. In the last two years family homelessness in Hillsborough County has risen by 20%. In Florida 6,000 families face homelessness every night. I believe that every child deserves a safe place to sleep, a place to call home, and hope for a brighter future. I know you do, too! Your donations will help Dawning Family Services provide prevention services for families at risk of loosing their home, emergency housing, permanent housing, and career services.
