As you all know Katie has fought a long and hard battle with cervical cancer and she made a big impact on all of our lives and touched us all by her strength and pure determination to fight this illness.

One of her wishes was to make others aware of cervical cancer and she was keen to support as many campaigns in relation to cervical cancer; whether it be research, funding or raising awareness by her video diary.

Instead of having flowers Katie requested that everyone donate money towards St Catherines Hospice as both Katie and her family spent a lot of time there before she passed away peacefully surrounded by the people she loved dearly.   This money will help St Catherines Hospice in not only making people and their families feel supported and cared for but hopefully will aid in the funding for research to eradicate this awful disease.
