I'm hosting a picnic in aid of Sarcoma UK this summer!
For those who don't know, I was diagnosed with incredibly rare Osteosarcoma in my spine in December 2018, and after a full year of intensive treatment (involving extensive surgery, Chemotherapy and Proton Beam Therapy across 3 different hospitals) I was incredibly fortunate and went into remission in December 2019.
Osteosarcoma in the spine especially is basically unheard of, and whilst I'm incredibly lucky to be here, it has left me wheelchair bound and in pain for the rest of my life.
Sarcoma UK are a small UK-based charity that helps raise awareness and funding for research into these rare cancers and how to treat them. If it wasn't for them, there's every chance I wouldn't be here today.
They have really helped support me these past few years, so I'd love for you join to me and my family as we help raise some money for such a worthwhile cause!
