Story

Janet Symons decided to do a sponsored 26 hour Marathon Stamp Trim to try and raise some funds for our Framlingham & Saxmundham Branch during the current restrictions due to COVID-19. All our fundraising events have been cancelled, and our work caring for cats and kittens goes on, with many likely to remain in our care for considerably longer than usual.

Early in March a giant box of used stamps, all untrimmed, was delivered here for our Branch. Janet had thought to invite some volunteers to her home for a 'day trim', when she would provide a simple lunch. However, that is no longer possible, so she thought of a sponsored Marathon at home on her own, starting on Sunday 26th April. Obviously it will take 3-4 days to fit in the 26 hours, (she has to feed the cats and even grab a bite of something for herself now and again, and get a bit of shut-eye)!

Your donation will be gratefully received and will help Janet in her task.

Thank You.
