Janet walks a marathon · 1 June 2021

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Hi there, my name is Janet, I am 54 years young, I have Down’s syndrome and other learning disabilities but this won’t stop me! I have decided to walk a marathon, this may be hard for me as I have limited mobility, but with the help from my family, friends and support workers I know I can do this. This will be no easy feat so it won’t be done in a day, it may take a few weeks/months to complete but I know I can do this.

Thank you in advance for reading my story and any donations made.  They are greatly appreciated. Xx

See you at the finish line!!!
