24 Hour (non-stop) Danceathon · 19 October 2019

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I was diagnosed with young onset Parkinson's disease last year at 47 years old. My sister and I want to raise awareness so people can get a better understanding on the disease, and raise money to help find a cure. I trained hard and did the London to Paris bike ride in July 2019, and want to keep the fundraising and fitness momentum going. This event will be a positive display of defiance, having fun with friends and family. Come and join us and dance the day, night or 24 hours away. We suggest a £5 donation to enter the event, anything else is just brilliant!
