When I adopted Susie-Belle in 2011 I couldn't have known that 12 years later I'd be writing a 6th book inspired by her. And running a charity in her memory. A small but mighty charity just as Susie-Belle was small and mighty in her lifetime. In the 4 years we shared before she died she changed my life forever.

Dogs do this. They are remarkable animals. Every single one.

It's been a while since I have done a personal fundraiser for Susie-Belle's charity and it's time I changed that. So here's my 2023 challenge. I am going to read 50 books for my Schnauzerfest Read-A-Thon. For each one I finish I will make a donation based on how many stars I give it.

I am a poor book critic and usually on Goodreads I mostly give 4 or 5 stars or nothing at all. This challenge however will be a true reflection of what I think about a book. So a 5 star review will raise a £15 donation from me, a 1 star £3. There is an open invitation for everyone to add their review in the form of a donation for any books I read that they have also read.

Why you might want to make a donation in support
