I was lucky to secure a place in this year's London Marathon.

I decided to run this marathon for charity as it is such a huge event and also because I would like to support a very worthy cause.

I am running this marathon for my Aunt Joan, who sadly is in a care home in Kansas, U.S.A.  I realise the devastating impact this has on families and the level of support needed to cope with this illness.
