Jane Ann Langley

10^th December 1958 – 9^th June 2021

Our precious wife, mum, sister, aunt, friend, confidante and
counsellor died suddenly and unexpectedly following an agonisingly short
illness. Janey will be dearly missed and remembered with endless love as she
lived: with her white-blonde hair, Ray-Ban sunglasses, stacks of silver
jewellery and hooting with laughter.

The Trussell Trust was a cause very close to her heart,
having spent much of her working life in schools supporting disadvantaged
children. More recently, throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, she was moved (quite
often to tears) by the incredible campaigning work of Marcus Rashford, and
would often write “TRUSSELL” in capitals at the top of her shopping lists to
make sure she remembered to pick something up for the food bank. On occasion
she would Tweet our local food bank to find out what they needed, and go on a
mission to fill a trolley.

Jane believed, without question, that nobody should be left
hungry, and wholeheartedly supported the mission of The Trussell Trust to
provide compassionate, practical support to people in crisis so that they can
tackle the issues they’re facing and won’t need to use a food bank again in the
future.

We, Jane’s family, thank you for visiting this page and for
