Jan Harding was my mother. She passed away peacefully on 10th July 2018.

Jan touched the lives of so many people through her friendship, teaching and research in the field of gender and education. Jan had suffered with Alzheimer's Disease for the last few years of her life. It is heartbreaking to see someone so intelligent, bright and passionate about so many issues slowly lose their memory and cognitive ability. 

There is much needed to be done in this field so I am suggesting that instead of sending flowers to her funeral please feel free to donate an equivalent amount to help support families affected by this condition and drive research forward.
