We're a charity that improves the lives of children and adults with cerebral palsy through specialist therapy, support and information.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Along with two of my sons I am climbing Mount Macchu Picchu in Peru to support Bobath Scotland, a charity for cerebral palsy children.

In 1995 a group of parents initiated the opening of the centre, Scotland's first and only Bobath therapy centre. Prior to that families had to travel to London to seek therapy. Since then more than 585 children with cerebral palsy from across Scotland have benefited from the interdisciplinary approach which combines occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech & language therapy.

The majority of the children attend annually for intensive 6 week blocks of therapy at an annual cost of £4,940.00 per child, including full evaluation costs and the expertise of two of the centre's dedicated therapists. No charges are passed on to the families supported. All donations from this site will contribute towards these ongoing costs.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
