Story

Hi there! I work for the RSPCA Middlesex North West & South Hertfordshire Branch - we aim to promote kindness and to prevent cruelty to animals by all lawful means… in this instance, it involves me dressing up as a bunny and running in this year’s ‘Big Half’ in London!

Each year, we work with 1000s of animals. From those brought into our care due to abandonment or neglect, to those whose owners have sadly passed away or had a change in circumstances. The team work on finding new, loving homes whilst the animals are placed in a caring foster home or are accommodated in our fully equipped, modern cattery.

In addition to the rehoming work, we also support over 1000 pet owners each year through financial assistance schemes, promote animal care and welfare through educational talks and provide access to advice and support through our animal welfare team.

As a branch of the RSPCA we run independently and as a separately registered charity; this means we are largely responsible for raising our own funds locally to help the animals in need in the local area. So please help me raise vital funds so we can continue with our fantastic work (if I do say so myself!)

Thank you so much for your support!
