I used to be a police officer in Brazil, but running has always been my true passion. Now, after retirement, I'm happy to be coaching a nonprofit running group. My philosophy has always been to help others to the best of my abilities and that's the message I try to spread through my own actions. Therefore, I'd be honoured to represent the United Kingdom Thalassaemia Society at the 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon.
