Hi, many of you know I started a lock down virtual mission walking from Land’s End to John O’Groats in June this year. Accompanied by my faithful collie Buddy ( pictured ) of course. 

It’s going to take me quite a while but we’ve already covered over 1000 miles since then and expect to arrive at  Easter 2021 . ( Update.. it’s looking more like mid-Feb if the weather is kind! ) (( Update update.. first week of Feb!!!)) UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE.. we completed the challenge on February 4th ! 

To keep my motivation going, I’ve decided to tie my virtual  challenge to this JustGiving fundraiser  for Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis. 

My eldest brother Roger suffers from this debilitating disease. He and my sister in law Dee are well known in Swanley for running an APF support group. 

I’m hoping this challenge will raise the profile of APF and it’s brilliant volunteers like Roger and Dee, who spend so much time, despite Roger’s illness, helping others.
