Janis Claxton touched many lives around the world. Dancers, colleagues, friends all found their lives richer, crazier, more connected and fuller when Janis found them. She was a tour-de-force: a wonderful choreographer and friend.

Sadly Lung Cancer had it in for Janis long before she or we would have liked. In the weeks that she spent at the Marie Curie Hospice in Edinburgh the staff and facilities were amazing and a huge comfort to her and her family.
