Story
I'm running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for War Child UK – and I would love your support!
Running and I have a bit of a complicated relationship, but most of the time, I love it. With just two months of proper training, I’ve set myself a challenge: to run 13.1 miles on 6 April 2025, not just for myself, but for children affected by war.
I’ve run half marathons before, but not since becoming a mum. Life, recovery, time, energy, and motivation have all got in the way. But signing up for this? It’s exactly what I needed. And doing it for War Child UK makes it even more meaningful.
Yes, I work for War Child, but this cause is deeply personal to me. Right now, there are far too many children living through the horrors of war. Children should never be part of war. Ever. War Child is there to protect, educate, and provide hope, but they can’t do it without support.
If you can spare a pound (or more!), I’d be so grateful. If donating isn’t possible, that’s okay too! Just spread the word about War Child’s work. Every share, every conversation, every bit of awareness helps.
This run is my way of making a difference. Thanks so much!
