This year I am running the Scarborough 10k for Ellie's Fund. They are a local charity who raise money to support children and young people with brain tumours in the Yorkshire and Humberside area. In addition to this they both fund research and help raise awareness of brain tumours.

I've seen evidence of the excellent work that Ellie's Fund do in the local press and so when I heard that they were looking for a team of runners to do the Scarborough 10k this year, I was more than happy to join them.

Rather poignantly two of my close friends have been affected by brain tumours this year. Therefore more than ever I am keen to contribute and help Ellie's Fund continue with the fantastic work that they undertake.
