Jaqueline Orton is raising money for St Elizabeth Hospice

Jackie's festive illumination · 1 December 2021

St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people with a progressive illness. Our work centres around individual needs, with specialist support, wherever required, at home, in the community or at the hospice. Each year the hospice needs to generate £12.9m, of this 70% comes from the local community.

Story

Most people who know me would say I am 'Crazy for Christmas'. Each year I decorate my home with lots of festive lights and in 2021 I plan to be bigger and better. After being awarded third place in Ipswich Festive Lights Competition 2020, I would like to light up my house for a local charity this year with all proceeds going to St Elizabeth Hospice. The hospice aims to improve life for people living with progressive illness and life limiting conditions, including wellbeing and bereavement support for their families.

Please drop Fletcher Road (IP3 0LD) in Gainsborough a visit from 1st December to see my lights. They cannot be missed! I would also really appreciate if you could donate to a good cause this year.

I would like to say thank you to Stuart Butcher and the rest of the team at D.A.B Scaffolding for supplying the scaffold.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all! x
