This January, Im challenging myself by riding in the Alpine Classic to support the Amy Gillett Foundation. Every year nearly 40 people die while riding bikes on Australian roads. Thats one person every 10 days. One in five people injured on Australian roads is a person riding their bike. That person is loved by their family, friends and community. That person deserved protection and safety to make it home. The Amy Gillett Foundation (AGF) works to make it safe to ride a bike in Australia. Their mission is for zero deaths and injuries of people while riding bikes. All of the work they do is to support this goal.
