Homelessness is a serious issue in the UK, and is a visible issue on the streets of Leeds and Bradford. Many people become homelessness through no fault of their own, and just need some help.

Homeless people are some of the most vulnerable in our society and routinely ignored by the majority. Complex issues often surround homelessness and Simon on the Streets focus on those who have often been excluded or refuse help from other homeless services and who need the most help.

I'll be sleeping rough on 28th September in the centre of Leeds to help highlight the issues and experience, in a very small way, what it is like for 1000's of people nationwide.

I'll be raising money on behalf of Guiseley Sounds Indie Disco; a not-for-profit Indie Disco night based in Guiseley, West Yorkshire. We have already raised over £250 for Simon on the Streets through donations at our events, instead of charging for tickets.

I hope to raise £100 to support the sterling work that Simon on the Streets does.
