I have decided to run my first ever marathon this year! 26 miles for 26 years on this planet

My family has massively been affected by heart disease. Firstly when my uncle died of a cardiac arrest back in 2014. And more recently this year when my grandma suffered a STEMI and required emergency stenting. She was able to get this diagnosed and treated rapidly due partly to the amazing work and research that the BHF do and I am forever grateful to them for this!

Due to these I have decided to fundraise for BHF as it's a charity close to my heart (no pun intended)
