Celebrating recovery and recovery milestones is at the core of the National Eating Disorders Associations Mission, and a great way to tell your story, spread awareness for NEDA, and raise necessary funds to help individuals and their families affect

Story

Since 2014, I have struggled, and still struggle, with multiple eating disorders and body dysmorphia. For such a long time, it consumed me. I wasn’t able to enjoy anything. I analyzed everything I ate, worked out for hours on end, and didn’t enjoy time with friends for fear of not looking good in the clothes I was wearing. My life revolved around calories in versus calories out. It was not a fun way to live my life and took way too much away from me. Today, I REFUSE to let my ED take anything more from me, but instead, take something back. I want to make a change and give back to an organization that has helped me recover. Today, I feel stronger, happier, and more loved than I have ever felt in my life. NEDA is not only for those who have suffered from an ED or body dysmorphia, but also for family members, friends, and those who have lost someone to an ED.

You ARE brave. You ARE worthy. You ARE strong. And never forget: YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.
