I am doing this 10k in memory of my Grandma Mabel who sadly passed away from dementia in April this year. I watched her deteriorate over the last 6 years and saw the true impact of dementia on a persons body and life. I watched this happen to my grandma but never once did she stop smiling or tell anyone what she was thinking. She was an incredible lady and now I’m wanting to raise money in her memory.

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
