Story

On Sunday 3rd October 2021 @ 11.30hrs I will be facing my fears and will be abseiling 190ft down Belfast City Hospitals iconic Tower Block (4th tallest building in Northern Ireland).

What a difference a year makes - having learned of a family member being diagnosed & currently going through treatment; to having lost both family members and friends over the years to cancer, I know how much of an impact this disease can have on the whole family.  The friends of cancer centre is an amazing charity which helps support both the patient and family during their battle of trying to fight this horrible disease . Every penny raised really helps make a difference.

For example:

  • Just £10 can provide tea/coffee to 43 people attending the hospital for treatment;
  • Whilst £50 can pay for 2 patients to receive complementary therapy sessions to help manage the side effects of their treatment.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
