Wild Mud Run · 16 April 2016

Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.

Story

Hi everyone, Thanks for looking at my Justgiving page and hopefully donating a small (or large!) amount to a very worthy charity.
I am going to be taking part in the Wild Mud Run on Saturday 16th April 2016 at Osmaston Manor, in the beautiful village of Osmaston near Ashbourne. Which is going to be a tough one for me as I have never done anything like this in my life!
I am raising funds for the Sepsis Trust- As you may know my wife Annaliese lost her life to sepsis in November 2015, leaving behind two young boys- Sam and William. I want to help The Sepsis Trust raise awareness so that this doesn't happen to other families. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you so much for supporting me. Jay x
