Story
In this challenging time we both wanted to do something to give something back to our NHS.
Consequently with very little notice and no training this Friday 22 May 2020, Richard and Jason will separately run (with maybe a bit of walking!) for 12 hours solid from 7pm to 7am on undulating terrain.
If we can get pledges of more than £500 Richard will run / walk dressed as pink panther…(really he needs little excuse to don that outfit!).
NHS staff and volunteers are doing amazing work right now in caring for COVID-19 patients. Together, let's show our respect and gratitude as they work tirelessly in the face of the virus. It's our turn to make sure we look after them, to ensure they can keep doing their vital work.
To those who know us and are thinking that will be doodle for these two ultra-runners – trust me when I say that one of the motivations in deciding upon this challenge is that I have realised I have been running very little in recent months, my Strava feed and increased waist size says it all.
So believe me, this will be a challenge both physically and mentally.
I hope you can support us and this worthy cause.
